Jason Washo is the owner, founder and LPL registered principal of Washo Financial. Specializing in assessing and minimizing risk for clients and implementing plans that address clients’ overall needs, Jason offers comprehensive wealth management and financial planning. 

After graduating from Arizona State University with a degree in accounting, he worked for several years in corporate finance before starting his full-time career as a personal financial planner in 2002. In 2005, he established Washo Financial. He is certified as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant), a PFS (Personal Finance Specialist) and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. He holds security licenses 7, 24 and 63 with LPL Financial, and he holds Arizona health and life insurance licenses.

Jason is regularly sought out for investment and financial planning advice. He’s appeared on AZ family news, channel 3, and ABC news, channel 15, to discuss various financial and tax topics, and he’s been quoted in US News and World Report as well as He values opportunities to educate others on financial matters in his office and in the community. He takes time to explain financial recommendations from many angles so clients have a clear understanding of their finances, and he has taught adult education classes on retirement preparation. Helping to alleviate financial stress for families is the most rewarding aspect of his work in finance. He has a natural affinity for finance and loves serving as a trusted financial professional.

Jason and his wife, Karen, live in the Metropolitan Phoenix area of Arizona, with their son, Lucas and daughter, Megan. Jason enjoys hiking and fishing with his family, doing art projects with his daughter and planting drought-tolerant plants that attract hummingbirds and butterflies.
